​​Western Greenbrier Youth Football and Cheerleading

In 2007 the WGYFL changed their mascot to the Cavalier. The previous teams mascot was the Viking and the colors were purple, gold and white. With the mascot change, the team colors also changed. The new WG Cavalier colors became Blue and Gold to match the Greenbrier West Cavalier colors. The first season that the WG Cavaliers competed in, the Varsity and JV teams both made the Super Bowl. The JV team defeated the White Sulphur Falcons for the Title. The Varsity team played hard but was defeated by the Lewisburg Steelers.
